Energised High Voltage Insulator Maintenance (Insulator Coating)

This course provides the knowledge and skills to coat insulators supporting live high voltage conductors. It includes the type of plant, equipment and tools for coating, the preparation for coating, such as the washing of insulators and the maintenance of equipment and tools used for coating. 

The techniques and procedures for effective insulator coating are also included.

It also includes the relevant OHS/WHS requirements, applicable codes of practices and industry guidelines for coating insulators supporting live high voltage conductors.
