This course provides the competency for testing underground power cables to verify the cables insulation. 

It includes the types, characteristics and causes of insulation damage.

The set-up, operation of testing equipment and interpreting the results of testing is included in the course

It also includes relevant OHS/WHS and environmental legislation, applicable standards, codes of practices and industry guidelines for the work.
